Zoé Evrard
Position: Postdoctoral Researcher at UCLouvain
My research focuses on the political economy of planning and neoliberalism in non-majoritarian contexts. My thesis analysed the redeployment of macroeconomic planning in Belgium from the 1970s to the 1990s, and forms the basis of my current book project. I am also studying Belgian neoliberalism (including the early neoliberal movement, interprofessional industrial relations since 1996, as well as the negotiated character of the Belgian trajectory of change), and development banking (particularly the federal SFPIM). I am currently developing a new research project that extends my work on planning, expertise and neoliberalisation to the European level.
